Attendance
Copper Canyon Regular Bell Schedule
Full Day - 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Half Day - 8:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Arrival:
Drop off will be from 7:55 - 8:15 a.m.
The playground will be supervised in the morning only. Gates open at 7:55 a.m.
A student is tardy if he/she is not in the classroom at 8:15 a.m., and must get a pass from the front office. It is less disruptive to the class if everyone is present when the teacher begins directions and instructions for the day.
Dismissal for Full Day:
Families with only Kinder - 2:35 - 2:40 p.m.
All remaining cars: 2:40 - 2:55 p.m.
Dismissal for Half Day:
Families with only Kinder - 11:50 - 11:55 a.m.
All remaining cars: 11:55 a.m. - 12:10 p.m.
Absences
If your child is going to be absent, please call our 24-hour attendance line at (602) 449-7201 by 9:00 a.m. the morning of the absence. Any absence not called in will be considered a truancy.
You may also call in any planned/future absences at any time prior to the date your child will be absent.
When calling in an absence, please leave the following information:

Please clearly state your student’s name, their teacher’s name, and reason for the absence.

If your student is ill, please describe their symptoms, including their temperature and the date when the symptoms began. This information is important.
