About Our School
Copper Canyon Elementary is proud to be a part of the Paradise Valley School District. Our school serves students in north Scottsdale grades pre-kindergarten through 6th grade.
Copper Canyon is a wonderful community school nestled in a quiet neighborhood in North Scottsdale. Our Parent-Teacher Organization is one of the most robust and supportive organizations in the district, and has supported our school through the addition of such facilities and programs as our Garden and Outdoor Science Center. They also bring the Arizona Science Center's dynamic presentations directly into our classrooms multiple times per year.
We are a PBIS school. Our current professional development plans include expanding our PBIS practice, as well as bringing more rigor to the inclusion of technology in the classroom, and deepening our understanding of trauma sensitivity. While our teachers are very experienced, and we have excellent test scores, we also pride ourselves greatly in the building of community relationships.
Our teachers and staff pride themselves on fulfilling their commitment to the Copper Canyon Mission, Vision, and Values. We value each student and we are committed to their education and safety.
